About the Photos

Zebra in open grassland

In this photo, you can see zebras living in the open grassland, with their stripes contrasting with the lush vegetation. Here, the photographer has placed the subject slightly off- center which enables the incorporation of more background space and creates a feeling of perspective. Lighting is natural, and the photograph displays great attention to detail. This is definitely a relaxed scene, capturing the subject in its environment.

This photo shows a tranquil scene where the animals look very relaxed. This makes the image much more authentic as the photo shows the animals as they naturally would be in their habitat. Which further represents my exhibition and my ideas

Baboon

In the picture, a baboon has been depicted as being situated in a very dense environment that consists of foliage surrounding him. By having an image composition that includes both the subject and the background, it becomes easier to establish the relationship between the two.

For natural lighting to be applied to this photo, it helps to emphasize both the texture of the hair as well as the facial features. By framing the subject, it becomes easier to make it the focal point of the photo.

This still photograph presents the baboon in a situation where it seems to be fully aware of its surroundings but does not seem worried about anything.

Giraffe feeding with natural own vegetation

In this picture, a giraffe is eating in an environment where trees and other plants surround it. I chose this animal because of its unique shape and the patterns on its skin, which create contrasts in its environment.

In the picture, the giraffe is placed across the frame, where the viewer can easily track its movements and position from one side to the other. A broad frame is used to enable the viewer to see its natural environment and not just the animal.

The light source in the photo enhances the skin patterns without making the picture look unrealistic. This image captures the behavior of the animal when it is not being observed by a human being. Through the use of composition, framing, and lighting, the image highlights both the physical structure of the animal and its interaction with the surroundings.

"My focus on everyday environments and overlooked moments makes my approach to wildlife photography distinctive."

Moments of interaction

A moment of interaction captured through my eyes with a naturel setting and envierment, highlighting body language and disticate behaviour

Monkeys

This photo is taken at the moment when interaction occurs between two baboons in a natural setting. The position of the subjects and their body language create an impression of the behavior indicating communication and interaction.

The framing of the subjects creates separation from the background, but there are some elements of the background included in order to provide context. Lighting of the natural scene accentuates texture and shape, creating a realistic representation of the scene.

A candid shot taken of the subjects encourages the viewer to observe behavior without drawing direct parallels to humans.
